How is COVID-19 Affecting Children?
It is time to answer the call and spread the word! Children with cancer need YOU.
The Delta Variant is attacking children. These with cancer are immunocompromised and families are faced with the difficult task of keeping their child home from school to keep them safe. Keeping a child home from school causes significant financial burdens cutting household incomes sharply.
Hospitals now require more days on site for COVID protocols. Ronald McDonald Houses have been closed and travel costs are rising. However, our children still need to get to their long-distance treatments and our expenses to provide regular hotel lodging is increasing and costly.
As healthcare systems are overwhelmed and reach capacity, many of our children and families are faced with the challenge to travel further to receive their treatments for their child’s cancer.
