On October 8, CITY GRIT & Feed the City (CITY GRIT’S non-profit) will host a four-course menu with wine pairings to raise money and awareness for Midlands children battling cancer through Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas.
Children's Cancer Partners ensures Midlands children have access to the very best care, regardless of how far from home, how often, or how long it’s required. We will provide resources, community, and compassion to more than 2,400 children across the Carolinas this year alone.
We assure financial and emotional support throughout the child’s and family’s entire cancer journey. We never leave their side.

A seat at our dinner gets a CCP child roundtrip travel to MUSC, one overnight lodging, and a meal for them and their caregiver.
Table for two? You're helping a child undergoing chemotherapy receive six months of home care and special diet costs.
Celebrate the night with friends! Four seats at our dinner will help a Midlands child get gas and parking at each of their 12 radiation therapy treatments.
Treatment isn't always available in the Carolinas. Snag a table for eight guests so we can help a Midlands child go on a three-day trip to New York or Houston for a clinical trial treatment.
When CITY GRIT’s Sarah Simmons learned about Children’s Cancer Partners, she said it touched her heart because she has a sister who spent much of her childhood in hospitals. Sarah immediately knew the importance of CCP caring for the entire family because she vividly remembers that part of their life.
Join us on October 8 for a dinner hosted by NBC TODAY’s Craig Melvin. Chef Aaron and the CITY GRIT culinary team will create the menu, and Sarah will pair the wines.
Proceeds from the evening help Children's Cancer Partners meet the needs of Midlands families needing assistance during the toughest journey of their lives.
