A qualified charitable distribution (QCD), also known as an IRA charitable rollover gift, allows you to make a gift from an IRA and exclude it from your taxable income.
Qualified charitable distributions can maximize your charitable giving and may satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year the gift was made, helping you avoid tax penalties.
Each financial institution has its own process for QCDs. Donors should consult their financial advisor and IRA custodian to initiate a charitable contribution from their IRA. Your IRA custodian will need our following legal identification:

Every Dollar Helps A Child Battling Cancer
Your gift is making hope possible by: helping one of 700+ Carolina children, newly diagnosed this year, get to lifesaving treatment for their diagnosis, when a relapse occurs, or for follow-up care. It ensures the current 2,300 children in our program have meals, miles, and hotel stays paid for so that caregivers can do what's most important: care for their child and provide events, tools, and resources to families so that their journey is aided with compassion, love, and support.
